Odesa IFF Documentary Industry Days in Gdynia

B2B Doc and Odesa IFF in collaboration with Gdynia Film Center will arrange the Documentary Industry Days of Odesa IFF in Gdynia, Poland during August 28-31.

The industry programme will consist of three main industry events, presenting projects from the B2B Doc countries; Ukraine, Moldova, Belarus, Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan:

29 August - SCOUTING SESSION

We invite documentary filmmakers with film projects in the idea or early development stage for a presentation to B2B Doc and the international documentary community. There is no demand for the projects to be properly developed or filmmakers to prepare detailed pitches. Our goal is to identify the potential in the projects and give filmmakers feedback to help them work out a proper strategy for co-production, financing and distribution of the future film. Possibly with the help of B2B Doc. If you wish to apply for scouting, please fill in this form and send to us before July 28. We will make a pre-selection of projects and offer travel grants to Gdynia.

30 August - LAUNCH PAD PITCHING

B2B Doc will present film projects in early production stages. Preferably projects that have never been pitched before. We will prepare all the projects for pitching and offer meetings with industry professionals. There is no open call for this session; only pre-selected film projects developed by B2B Doc will be invited.

31 August - CUTTING EDGE PITCHING

B2B Doc will present film projects in the editing stage to a panel of distributors, sales agents, film funds and TV channels. All have been creatively supported by B2B Doc; the teams have attended various international training programmes and workshops, as well pitched previously at leading pitching events and co-production markets in Europe. No open call for this pitching, only pre-selected film projects developed by B2B Doc will be invited.

The Documentary Industry Days will take place in Gdynia Film Centre with workshops, panel discussions and master-classes with filmmakers from the B2B Doc countries and international industry professionals.
